The PlaySpace Drama Programme
is comprised of students ranging in age from 5-13 years old (Yrs 1-6). Boundaries between age, experience, gender and culture are quickly crossed, as students come together through a programme based on play, exploration and trust.
Many games, activities and scripts see Drama students develop voice skills – projection and diction; stagecraft skills; expressive skills; co-operative skills; confidence; and empathy.
Fundamentally, the PlaySpace Drama Programme focuses on encouraging all students to engage enthusiastically as they develop skills that enable them to communicate expressively, whilst working collaboratively.
